Two thirds of adults don’t get enough exercise

The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy recently conducted a survey which showed that nearly two thirds of adults (63%) don’t take enough exercise increasing their risk of obesity, heart attack, stroke and cancer. 20% of those questioned exercised once a month or less.

The recommended amount of exercise is one hour a day for children and 30 minutes at least 5 days a week for adults.  Exercise can be incorporated into your daily schedule, for ideas have a look at our physiobench articles
